FOCUS : Before starting the archery session with
Kauravas and Pandavas, Dronacharya asked everyone to aim at a toy bird fixed on
a tree. He asked everyone what they saw. All replied that they saw the sky ,
tree , branches, leaves etc. Arjuna was the only one who replied that he only
saw the eye of the bird. That is F.O.C.U.S. The students are surrounded by many
distractions. This camp will enable them to focus on their strengths & work to their full
potential.
1.Knowing yourself :
This gives the trainee a chance to know her / his strength s and weakness .
They will see themselves for the first time in a new dimension.
2.Prioritization: A glass container, big rocks, pebbles,
sand and water are given. All these have to fit into the glass jar. In which order will the sand,
water, pebbles and rocks have to be put into the glass container? All of us have 1440 minutes in a day.
How will the students manage their 24hours (glass container) ? How will they do their tasks (
water, sand, pebbles and rocks)?
3.Synergy : Many
aspects are merged into a single word SYNERGY. A combined effort of many people
will bring a greater result than when done by a single person. Synergy is a combined
orchestration of Team work, Goal setting, Creativity, Leadership and Emotional
Intelligence. All these are like the colors in a rainbow merged into one
another. This will enhance the horizons of the students.
4.Continuous development / improvement. The learning
journey is a continuous process in the life of a human. With the tools given by
us and their increased confidence the students will be able to monitor their
skills.
To be in a constant
state of motivation the students need to have workshops like this at regular
intervals.
